donno if any of you are keeping up with worlk rumors, but supposed affliction talent:

Cripple (51 Point Talent) - Cripples the target, reducing movement speed by 75%, pacifying and silencing the target. Cripple causes the target to be immune to physical attacks, but still vulnerable to spells. Lasts 20 seconds. Only 1 target can be crippled at a time. (1.5 second cast, no cooldown)

not sure what pacifying a target will do (not allowed to attack?) but if this is real and isnt nerfed, there would be no reason to play another class in pvp.

Except that rogues will still kick your shit in because they can cloak it.

Pacifying wont let you use your abilities, Silence wont let you cast spells. You can still autoattack.

Also i tested it on the moths outside of shat. They "pacify" you with thier dust, and i was still able to use Cloak of Shadows on it. Not saying they wont change it, but currently, that skill would be pretty much a waste on a rogue with cloak up.

The other question is, can you cast it on teammates as well. Cause you could use it on say a friendly warrior, who then wont take damage from any melee attacks and could be healed (like pally bubble).

well, the point is that without a cooldown, you can force a rogue/pally/mage to pop cloak/bubble/ice block immediately, otherwise pretty much die, then ideally, recast it. granted, rogues have enough outs to probably prevent it from landing for some time, but in the broad scheme of things, its a retarded talent if left unchanged. thinking along the lines of warlock/rogue 2v2. i would imagine some form of diminishing returns, but 20 seconds is just nuts.
