It seems that they are spending more time to refine the programming so there will be fewer errors. That was a major part of Conans fall. Patch after patch after patch to fix thing and then more problems came up. (Lol memory leaks)

That wasnt even my gripe with conan, bugs are fixable and fine by me. The game itself was good and the gameplay was uniqueish, but got old REALLY fast. Then there was the fact that there was literally NO endgame ANYTHING that was even remotely close to being finished.

Hello, hope everyone is doing well. Conan started off good but it got incredibly boring around 50-60 level just pure grinding in order to level. I refused to grind that many levels so at 80 I can have my penis on my hand cause there was no end game content. I already pre-ordered WHO and hopefully, it is better than that godforsaken conan game, with its memory leaks, crafting is a fail, pve is a fail, pvp aspect, still seems like a good idea, execution wise, fail. Hope to see some of you on Warhammer.

this game is gonna be epic. speaking from the open beta, it's much more polished than WoW was at release, and you can start PvPing at like ~lvl 3.

To be honest I never read up a whole lot about it... other than I know they cut down their original plan for 6 capital cities down to 2, removing a ton of the content. I also heard that a number of their dev team left during the process.

WAR is terrible compared to WoW.

Hastily Created Battlegrounds:

WAR has 12 scenarios (battlegrounds) ready before launch. I have only played two of them, and I have no comment about them, but no doubt the rest of them are absolutely terrible. After all, Mythic had to cobble together 12 battlegrounds BEFORE launch. Blizzard has had FOUR YEARS to fine-tune its four battlegrounds into the epitome of perfection, balance, variety, and playability. There's no way Mythic can do that to 12 before the game even launches.

Too Much Work For Rewards:

I actually have to PLAY the battlegrounds (scenarios) to earn honor (renown)?? What's up with that? I can get my purples by going AFK in WoW. Why should I have to play to get rewards? This is a perfect example of their shoddy game design.

No Dungeons:

Actually, I'm told there are 30 dungeons in WAR, but I haven't seen any of them yet. After all, WAR is a PvP-only game, so I don't understand why Mythic would include dungeons, so I don't believe they exist.

Drop Rates:

The drop rates for quests in WAR is too predictable. If I'm told to get 10 lion skins, I have to kill 10 lions. Where's the fun in that? WoW quest drops add suspense to quests. You never know if you'll have to kill 10 lions or 100 lions to get your lion skins.

Unfair Requirements On Public Quest Rewards:

When you finish a public quest, the game "rolls" for you to see who gets a chance at reward drops. You get a roll "bonus" if you contributed to the public quest. The more you contribute, the bigger the bonus. You get a bag of items, and you get to pick ONE item from the bag that you want to keep.

WoW may not have public quests, but compare that to instances.

First, this has the same problem as "Too Much Work For Rewards" listed above. WoW lets me tag along in an instance and contribute nothing, yet I can still get great drops from that quest. In fact, that's the whole point of getting a 70 to run me through deadmines! So why should I have to contribute to get a reward?

Also, if I get a BAG of items and I get to choose which item I want, where is the motivation to do the same Public Quest over and over again for months in order to get a specific drop that I've been looking for? Exactly, there is no such motivation. Bad move, Mythic.

No Twinking:

What option do I have to scare away the scrubs from doing scenarios (battlegrounds)? NONE! Why should SCRUBS enjoy a scenario without having to level up a toon in order to twink out an alt? And what's the point of ME playing scenarios if I can't 1-shot everyone who didn't put in the same amount of time and effort that I put in? It totally ruins my PvP experience to not be able to 1-shot scrubs. No thanks, Mythic.

No Ganking Lowbies:

So get this: If I try to 1-shot a lowbie, the game turns me into a chicken!! Then the lowbie can 1-shot ME, after which I have to rez at my "hearth" location (rally point). Way to spoil my fun, Mythic!! Again, what's the point of leveling up the fastest and getting great gear if we can't make the lives of scrubs miserable? I just don't get it.

Questing Too Easy:

You bring up the map, and it TELLS YOU where to go to do a quest. If anyone actually wanted a stupid capability like this, they'd write an add-on to do it. 'Nuff said.

No Rogues:

Did you know there's not a SINGLE class in WAR that lets you control an entire 1v1 fight from start to finish? There's no way I can sneak up on someone, keep them disabled or crippled throughout the fight, and then vanish and run away if it starts to go bad on me. What kind of twisted game company could create an MMO without a class like that?

I could go on, but clearly this game is 100% fail. I don't know why anyone would want to play WAR instead of WoW.

if you liked the feeling of the tarren mill/southshore standoffs back in the day, you'll like WAR b/c there's an area like that in every zone (gg just realized that's a WoW comparison)

trying to objective as possible from the few levels i've played in the open beta, the game is really fun b/c you can start pvping asap. of course there's the typical grind questing if you feel like doing that, but the main draw of the game is the RvR. when it comes down to it, killing computer pixels just can't compare to bashing in Joe Fatpack who lives in his mom's basement's face. and when you can level by killing PC's, i'm completely sold

Jean, it's a WoW clone. So think of it as controls same as WoW in terms of smoothness. I had a lot of fun doing scenarios. It's just a new game with same style as WoW imo. Should be a lot of fun though!

will do casey. The game has a lot more in terms of game play compared to wow. Late game one build does not fit all like wow. each has its own ins and outs. A lot more depth to each class and synergy between classes then wow.

I like how the game is cut up into chapters, and you feel like there's a real progression to what you alone are doing... and the public quests make you feel like you are doing shit to help out the cause. Playing it, it's like you have so much to choose from with what you want to do. PvP, public quests, quests by yourself, they all result in progression with points, exp and lewts. And I haven't even touched the talent customization, because i didn't get that far on any one character, but it looks neat, well-thought out, and it will make your character very customized. And in the one scenario, with the Khaine's Embrace Explosion, I've never gotten a true feeling of OMG DOOM INC RUN AWAAAYYY from a game b4. unreal ^_^

I rolled Destro, none of the Order classes appealed to me. I'd only think of playing a runepriest or a white lion.. and I'd rather play a shaman, zealot, or marauder instead of those 2. My shaman's name is Citgo, Zealot's name is Oqtix, and Marauder's name is Yuengling. The shaman's my main atm.. got to lvl 15 today. :x
