I've been stuck in the middle, better than weaker guilds, but not geared up enough for the top level guilds for a while now. However I'm a cunning player with lots of tricks up my sleeve, I'm always number 1/2 in dps in any PUGs I've taken part in, even as undergeared as I am. I've developed sufficiently as a player to the point where I feel like I would only be challenged in a highly competitive guild like exodus. I would excel given the chance.

I was in a pretty similar situation guild/gearwise to this guy way back when I transferred. Just saying.

Get him in an alt run and see what happens imo~

I don't mean any offense bud, but unless you have one of your "tricks up your sleeve" I don't think this is the place you want to app. I understand the mentality of shooting for the best even if it's a long shot, however, the problem of lack of gear isn't really the problem. The problem is lack of demonstrated experience and ability, not that you don't have any, just that you don't show that you have any. Try moving to a SSC/TK progressing guild, then once geared and with those under your belt, Hyjal/BT. You got to climb the ladder, can't hop over 7 rungs.

None taken, your criticisms are fair. Basically I consider this my introduction to you guys. I know a few of you guys already, that's why I'm applying. I would relish the chance to have a trial with you guys, but I trust your judgement. I'm just asking for a chance, now or later.

This is a bad mentality to have. Gear yourself as best you can at each point of progression and there will always be a guild slightly above you that needs people.

That's a fair criticism too. I think my big issue is finding a guild that meets my needs.
I farm 20-25 badges a day. Even getting gear with badges , I stay at the same level. Can you recommend a guild, if not exodus, that could help someone stuck in the middle like myself. I almost feel like I should hide the gear I have now in order to get the T5 stuff, just to get to the next level. It's as if I'm overqualified for the position I'm in.

My guild preBC could barely clear Patchwerk 2 weeks before BC hit. I was in 2 pieces of tier 1, 2 pieces of tier2, 2 pieces of tier 3, and 2 pieces of tier 2.5. I had HWL daggers and i left them and joined an upcoming guild in BC on Mug'thol. I farmed enough shit faster than anyone else and was one of the first rogues with latros/spiteblade and dual mongoose. (Fucking mongoose cost me like 2k gold per at that point). Once i got some more gear (and the gm being a faggot) i joined NA who was a top 50 clan, upon the gm being a faggot there after almost a year, i got an invite to join exodus after apping.

You gotta work up the ladder, the only pepole that didnt were the ones who gamed with everyone in the very begining, and even those people are rare now, most people came from nowhere land and climbed the ladder.

There are literally tons of guilds that are 4/5 hyjal and first few bosses in BT. You should probably try one or all of those since I think you're in a worse spot than many of our alts. Gearing up sucks, being confined to 10 man instances due to lack of players sucks more but eventually people migrate to other guilds and push new content and I think that's your best bet for finding a niche.
